The rise of generative "AI" art is an unruly plague that's popping up in the commercial world all to often as a "cheaper" alternative to hiring real people to create charming pictures, and an uglier alternative to other free alternatives like basic clipart that's been around for decades.
Maybe you have the mindset that AI is better because it's "unique" every time you generate a picture, and surely nobody can really tell it's AI because it looks JUST like the real thing...Well, I hate to break it to you, but most people can recognize that whatever picture you generated for your promotion is a smudged together mess of pre-existing pictures made by real people fed into an algorithm to create mass produced, poor quality imitations of the real thing, and that doesn't catch people's attention.
But let me tell you what DOES catch people's attention!
For decades the world has been swayed by funny looking creatures and characters selling them products, with such a trend only slowing down due to the sudden corporate fascination of computers and minimalism...
What these out of touch corporations aren't familiar with though is that running pixels from existing pictures from a better time through an algorithm to create a facade of a creation doesn't sell people things! And neither does going for the bare minimum!
People want something to look at! Something to turn heads and get them interested!
